Sharon Lee is a mom of two, an experienced educator and parenting coach. She has worked in the greater Los Angeles public and independent schools for over 34 years. She now serves as the Social Emotional and Academic Learning Specialist at Carlthorp School in Santa Monica. She is currently DEI co-chair of Marlborough Parent Association. Her previous work includes Director of Student Learning and Literacy Coach at Saint Mark’s School in Altadena, kindergarten teacher, admissions team member, mentor teacher, Director of Piper Preschool in Santa Monica, and science teacher at Marlborough Summer Camp. She helps children and their families overcome obstacles and sets them up for success in school. Sharon has also served as a primary curriculum consultant with Mathnasium, and an Educational Care Team Member with Dr. Tina Bryson, at the Center For Connection. She has been a frequent guest on KPCC 's The Brood, Airtalk, and Take Two. In addition to her duties as an SEL specialist, Sharon facilitates support groups, provides one on one counsel, and educational therapy.
