Megan currently works as the Director of Literacy Impact at Carnegie Learning. She is a former reading specialist with experience developing K-12 writing curriculum and blended professional development courses for adults across the United States. Megan is experienced in improving school systems through implementations driven by real-time data, having successfully directed a $13 million USDOE grant-funded literacy program across 100 schools in LAUSD and NYC DOE. Her work is driven by the belief that every student can learn, and that there is transformative power in supporting students in reading and writing about their worlds. She holds a B.A. in English from UCLA, and an M.A. in International and Comparative Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
